The Locker Room Game of the Week Preview: New Haven vs. Leo

Hey good evening everyone..

Well through the first third of the high school football season, our locker room games of the week have been s-a-c centric..but tomorrow night, we turn our attention to the ne-8... it will be a battle between two top twenty teams in class 4-a when leo visits new haven..

And our petar hood is here to get you ready for it..

)justin the ne-8 was formed back in 2015..through the first three years of its exsistence, leo and new haven each claimed a pair of conference titles..but for the last two years, the league has been dominated by east noble..

And while the knights are still the team to beat, both the lions and bulldogs are ready to get back into championship contention..)and both have looked the part early on this season..leo's lone loss came at the hands of top-ranked mooresville... outside of that, the lions have outscored their opposition 67-0...meanwhile, new haven is 3-0 coming off of a huge road win against defending 2-a state champ pioneer..these bulldogs are brimming with confidence right now, but they also know they have to be ready for a fight anytime leo comes calling...) lane woodson: "leo vs.

New haven has always been a rivalry game.

We come out to have fun.

We know what we got to do in order to win and take the lead."jakar williams: "we just have to come out, play hard, play with intensity, have great energy, and just come out and play our heats out.

This game is very important.

It's basically like whoever wins is really the top team in the conference."jimmy linn: "one of our goals is to be a conference champion, and in order to compete, obviously you have to win games.

You have to beat the teams who are at the top, and statistically the teams that have been towards the bottom are getting better.

There are great coaching staffs in this conference, so it's a tough task to win games every week."

Ethan stewart: "it's a big step for us to be the conference champs, because obviously we have to try to beat everyone we can in the ne8 to get up there, so new haven is one step on the way there and then east noble is the next."micahel o'brein: "well they've always been right next to us, competing with us.

We love to compete.

We love competition.

They're good competition, and we like to battle with good competition."jared sauder: "it's always good to have a good quality opponent that's your rival and programs that compete against one another.

It's always been a good, clean, fun football game usually, and that's what we're looking forward to this friday too is just a good football game.

Both teams get to test each other in this game, so it should be a good one.")kickoff here at young stadium is set for 7 p.m.

On friday night.

Of course we'll have highlights from this game and plenty more for you in the locker room.

J-prince i know you missed me last week man.

I'll be back on that desk with you tomorrow night... and here's a look at what you'll see tomorrow night in the locker room...of course we'll be at your game of the week between new haven and leo...other big matchups include huntington north at c city, south adams at heritage, and southwood at northfield... and of course we will have cameras at all five s-a-c games as well...including carroll at northrop and dwenger at homestead..

With both the chargers and saints looking to move to 4-0...all that and more for you
