Pet ownership can be very rewarding especially to children learning responsibility.
Today's question for our petvet on call is -- what are some life lessons pet ownership gives kids?.
"oh my goodness, that is an endless list.
In addition to the basic responsibility of taking care of another living creature, they teach our kids loyalty and unconditional love.
They teach our kids how to be themselves and unconditional love.
They teach them to take time to play and make time to rest and even take naps.
And uncondtional love.
They teach them to drop everything that they're doing and greet their visitors and friends with enthusiasm and unconditional love.
And they also teach us to forgive and not to hold grudges.
And unconditional love.
Are you getting the point?
Every kid needs a good pet and every pet needs a good kid."
