'Holy Smokes!' '60s Batman and Robin costumes head to auction

A pair of Batman and Robin outfits, described as the only known complete costumes worn on the 1960s television show, is going up for auction in Los Angeles.

If you've got a couple hundred thousand dollars to spare and a yearning to relive the 1960s iconic Batman TV series, you might consider placing a bid at an upcoming auction in Los Angeles, where the only known complete costumes for the inseparable Batman and Robin are going under the hammer as a single lot.

The pair of outfits, complete with cape and cowl, masks, boots, gloves and tights, are expected to fetch between $150,000 and $200,000.

And you might as well complete the look.

Everyone loves them because they are instantly recognizable, everyone knows what these things are when they see them." The working Batmobile Batphone has a high estimate of $50,000.

There are a number of other looks frozen in time on the auction block covering a range of classic TV shows, including 'I Dream of Jeannie,' 'Star Trek,' and 'Wonder Woman.'

It'll all be up for grabs at the Azarian Collection Auction on December 17th.
