Day three of the impeachment hearings have kicked off in the capitol.

This is a live look at washington where the public hearing is now underway.

Lets take a listen... three of the four people set to testify today listened in on the phone call between president trump and president of the ukraine.

The utility says the shutoff should last into thursday.

#### the chico city council will hold a public hearing today to discuss the move to district based elections.

The meeting starts at six p-m in the city council chambers.

The assistant city attorney and city manager mark orme will give a presentation regarding the districting process, and options available to the city.

Also at that meeting... the chico city council will consider a plan to allow commercial cannabis shops.

The proposed ordinance would make sure the locations are restricted.

No shops would be placed near schools.

The proposal would allow no more than one store for every 25-thousand people in chico.

### police in fresno are on the hunt for two gunmen who opened fire after a football watch party - killing four people.

Police say about 30 members of a 'hmong' family were at the party - including women and children inside the home during the attack.

Investigators say some of the victims had been involved in a disturbance earlier in the week.

They are now working to figure out if the two incidents are connected o* gang- related.

Prosecutors in contra costa county are not filing charges against five men suspected in a deadly halloween night party shooting.

Police arrested four men thursday for the murders of five people.

The contra costa district attorney said the office could not meet the standard for filing charges by monday's deadline and had to release them.

However - charges can be filed later.

### california is suing e-cigarette company "juul".

The state claims "juul" targed young people in its advertising, failed to include required warnings and did not properly verify customer's ages.

The centers for disease control says 42 people have died and more than two- thousand have become sick from vaping.
