Trump salutes fallen 9/11 Vigiano brothers

U.S. President Donald Trump saluted fallen NYPD Detective Joseph Vigiano and his brother, John, on Wednesday during a ceremony on the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Joseph Vigiano's children, James Vigiano, John Vigiano and Joseph Vigiano Jr., were in the audience at the Pentagon to hear Trump's remarks.

"At the time, Joseph's three sons, were just young boys.

Ages 8, 6, and 3-months-old," Trump said of the fallen NYPD detective who gave his life 18 years ago.

Earlier during the ceremony, Trump said he was looking out of a window from a building in midtown Manhattan, directly at the World Trade Center, "when I saw a second plane, flying at tremendous speed, go into the second tower." Trump added that he knew the world had changed and that he later went to Ground Zero to provide help.
