Next! Trump Says Bye Bye To Bolton

The White House announced Tuesday morning a press briefing scheduled for the afternoon.

Ninety minutes before that press briefing was scheduled, President Donald Trump fired National Security Advisor John Bolton.

Within moments of Trump's firing by tweet, Bolton tweeted back his own side of the story.

"I offered to resign last night and President Trump said, 'Let's talk about it tomorrow.'" CNN reports national security officials and White House staff learned about Bolton's firing only when Trump tweeted about it.
