Civil Unrest Shuts Down Hong Kong Airport

Reuters reports flights at Hong Kong's International airport were cancelled for a second day.

The move came after protesters clashed with police Tuesday evening, plunging the former British colony deeper into turmoil.

Several police vehicles were blocked by protesters, and riot police moved in.

Police pushed some protesters back and used pepper spray at times.

Hong Kong’s Airport Authority said operations at the airport had been “seriously disrupted”.
