Sudanese Military: Snipers Shooting At Civilians, Soldiers In Khartoum

A senior Sudanese military official says snipers shot at least five civilians and three paramilitary soldiers in Khartoum on Sunday.

According to Reuters, the shootings took place as tens of thousands marched in the capital demanding a return to civilian rule.

General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo did not say whether anyone died and gave no information on the gunmen or their affiliation.

We are upset and we want to get things under control.
