Trump Administration Terminates Near Billion-Dollar Deal For California High-Speed Rail

According to a report by Huffpost, the Trump administration announced that it had terminated an agreement with California that would have directed nearly 1 billion dollars toward the state's high-speed rail project.

On Thursday, the US Transportation Department said that it would 'deobligate' nearly one-billion dollars in funds for the project, claiming that it had 'failed to make reasonable progress.
