Father remembers young son killed in Sri Lanka blasts

Student Kieran Shafritz de Zoysa who was killed in the Sri Lanka Easter attacks, says his son had a brilliant mind and "was going to do great things in this world." Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Alex Arrow, the father of a fifth-grade Washington, D.C.

Student who was killed in the Sri Lanka Easter attacks, says his son had a brilliant mind and "was going to do great things in this world." 11-year-old Kieran Shafritz de Zoysa, who went to school at Sidwell Friends, died in one of the blasts, the school emailed to friends and family.

Kieran was living in Sri Lanka, on leave from the school and expected to return, the email said.

"Kieran was the most articulate, and insightful, and kind, loving kid, who was going to make a major contribution to this world.

And these terrorists have now taken him," said Arrow.
