NO REPORTER NARRATION Hollywood stars, including veteran movie director Steven Spielberg and newlyweds Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, gathered in Beverly Hills Thursday night (February 28) for an annual gala to raise money for cancer research.

The gala, held by the Women's Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) and dubbed "An Unforgettable Evening," has brought together leaders in entertainment and cancer research for some 20 years.

Actress Rita Wilson and her Oscar-winning husband Tom Hanks have been honorary chairs of the annual gala along with Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw for almost two decades.

The honorees of the night included actress Kate Hudson who received the 2019 Courage Award and actress Gabrielle Union who was honored with the 2019 Unsung Hero Award.

The actresses were awarded for their work in the fight against breast cancer.
