Comicbook.com reports Sony's 'Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse' won Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards!

Fans noticed nobody thanked Stan Lee or Steve Ditko, the creators of Spider-Man... ...but Spider-Verse co-director Bob Persichetti was planning to thanking the late creators.

The ceremony's production team cut the mic feed to move events along smoothly.

'Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse' is available digitally on February 26th.
