These Google Maps Features May Slow You Down on the Road

Google Maps is upping their information game, reports Mashable.????The GPS travel companion will be providing some numbers that matter the most...the posted speed limit in the area you’re driving.????Apparently this feature has been around for about a year and a half but unless you’ve steering through the streets of San Francisco or rumbling through Rio chances are you’ve didn’t know this existed.????But now Android Police is reporting that some users are starting to see the speed limit icons in New York City, Los Angeles and Minnesota.????Perhaps of even more use is letting you know what you can’t see...and that’s an audio indication of approaching a speed trap.????It isn’t clear yet if this is a full rollout of the features, but it would be way more helpful than having to quickly Google “how to get out of a speeding ticket” the next time you’re pulled over.
