Trump says Stands By Saudi Crown Prince Despite Pleas From Senate

According to Reuters, President Donald Trump has announced that that he stands by Saudi Arabia’s crown prince despite a CIA assessment that the prince ordered the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

This announcement is also coming despite pleas from U.S. senators for Trump to condemn the kingdom’s ruler.

Trump has refused to comment on whether Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was involved in the murder.

Trump said, "He’s the leader of Saudi Arabia.

They’ve been a very good ally."
