You may have never heard of Primera Air and, in fact, you may never again.

??But passengers who were mid trip with the budget Danish airline found themselves stranded after the company went bankrupt and were forced to cancel all of its flights.

??Pavithra Selvakumar said she arrived at the Dulles airport in virginia ready to return to her home in England.??But when she got there, no one was manning Primera Airโ€™s check-in counter, only a note was left saying that the company was bankrupt and all flights had been cancelled.??She Told Business Insider: "There is no customer support here.

Literally no one.

I tried calling them, but there's no one answering the calls."??Going on to say that she didnโ€™t have the money to book another flight or a hotel room so she was effectively stranded at the airport and she wasnโ€™t the only one.

??Other passengers were stranded all over the world including the airlineโ€™s flight crews.??One of whom tweeted: โ€œWorked on our days off just to keep the airline going.

Just to be shit on and left without a hotel room flights or money, with crews stuck in Toronto Washington Boston New York Paris and Keflavik.โ€ ??Primera air posted an apology to their website, but have yet to offer compensation for those who had booked flights.

??Business Insider reported earlier this year that Primera was offering flights from London to the U.S. for as little as $99โ€ฆ??Itโ€™s no wonder they went out of business.
