According to Automotive News, Volvo wants one-third of their deliveries to be autonomous vehicles by 2025.

But Volvo has a long way to go before they reach that lofty goal.

That's why the Swedish automaker launched a tech fund to investment collaborators and partners for developing autonomous vehicles.

Their latest investment will go to Luminar, a Palo Alto-based company that makes LIDAR systems for fully automated driving.
