Hong Kong's airport reopens, more than 200 flights canceled

Hong Kong's airport reopened on Tuesday but its administrator warned that flight movements would still be affected, after China said protests that have swept the city over the past two months had begun to show "sprouts of terrorism".

Protests have overcome Hong Kong, shutting down the international airport and affecting peopleโ€™s flights. While the airport reopened the day after, its administrator warned flight movements would still be affected. According to Reuters, China said the protests have begun to show โ€œsprouts of terrorism.โ€ The country said โ€œprotesters have been frequently using extremely dangerous tools to attack the police.
