An Australian model who was found guilty of assault after a fracas on a flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles avoided prison when she was sentenced in U.S. court on Monday.

Australian model sentenced to community service for in-air attack
Australian model Adau Mornyang, who was accused of shouting a racial slur at an air marshal and assaulting a flight attendant on a January 21 United Airlines Melbourne to Los Angeles flight, was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service and to receive mental health and alcohol abuse counseling on Monday.
