Heavy rains in northern India, snowfall likely in Jammu and Kashmir

A snow leopard was caught by locals at a village in north India after it was driven towards the populated area by heavy snowfall last Friday (February 8). After snow had buried the upper reaches of the Kalaroos area, in Kupwara, northern Kashmir state, a snow leopard entered the residential area to scavenge for food and was caught by locals.
